Personal Life coaching
Life has a way of throwing obstacles - and opportunities - at us and sometimes it's difficult to tell one from the other. I love helping my clients work through how to hurdle the things that are getting in their way in order to grab the positive future they want.

As a Personal Life Coach, I’m aware that people bring their whole selves to my sessions. Although they might contact me with a specific area that needs development or clarity, as a coach my skills allow me to identify if it’s necessary to consider wider elements of their life too. Perhaps their work life, relationships or even their current health.

Using Performance Coaching and Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) skills, I can help you pinpoint exactly what you want to achieve, and guide and support you as you move towards your goal. As a coach I’m not here to tell you what to do, my skills allow me to listen to you and identify exactly the right approach to help you find the answer you need. Once you’ve identified that, our sessions guide and support you towards your goals. Helping you to achieve the change you’re seeking.

My coaching style is relaxed and friendly and no two session plans are the same. I tailor my approach to you and your specific situation. As a personal life coach, I know the importance of treating everyone as an individual.

Utilise A Personal Life Coach
It's often the case that I hear from people who know that they need some type of change to their current way of life but have no idea what. My ‘Life MOT’s’ allow me to use my coaching skills to consider all areas of your life and identify where the improvement opportunities are. I’ve seen people achieve great results from this initial lack of clarity in their life, and it’s always a privilege to help these people build the confidence to achieve the change they’ve identified.

In order to achieve maximum success, I like to work with a client in bundles of three sessions. This allows us to break a larger change into small goals so that change can be experienced as soon as possible.

ME/CFS Coaching
You don't have to do this alone.
Living a life that feels worthwhile can feel out of reach when you’re crippled by fatigue. It can be difficult to find a way to cope with even the basics of everyday life.
Being struck down by a condition such as ME/CFS, post viral fatigue or other fatigue-related conditions like fibromyalgia, can leave you feeling robbed of the life you deserve. Tasks, once effortless, now feel insurmountable. You’re often unable to get through the simplest of actions without an energy crash.
You’re likely feeling hopeless and scared this limited version of life is all that’s on offer to you now. You didn’t ask for this. You deserve to find a way to cope better and regain quality of life.
I get it. I understand exactly how you feel, because I’ve been there too. And I’ve come out of the other side. I was diagnosed with ME/CFS in 2010. No-one understood what I was going through or how to help me cope.
That’s why I set up Pamela Rose Coaching. As a fully qualified performance coach with NLP (Neuro-linguistic programming) I now lead clients, from the point of despair, to getting back on their feet and learning how to cope with life again.

I have gained a particular reputation for helping those who are living with a diagnosis of Myalgic Encephalomyelitis or Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (more commonly referred to as ME/CFS). As an ME/CFS Coach I can offer guidance from personal experience, as I was diagnosed with this illness myself ten years ago and have subsequently managed a very successful recovery. Fully accredited by the National Council of Psychotherapists I now work with others who have this condition, to help them with their own ME/CFS recovery.
My approach
I've used my personal and professional experience to create two frameworks that guide you through the key elements that will help you to cope better today, and feel more hopeful of a partial or full recovery in the future.

Life with ME/CFS can be difficult, many people experience a long list of symptoms and only receive formal diagnosis after a long period of illness. Coping during this time is frustrating, but it’s important to be patient and recognise that there are self-led treatments that you can follow to ease your symptoms and move towards recovery.
Even during the time that you’re awaiting formal diagnosis. ME/CFS brings daily challenges and the mental strength needed to ensure you are coping is important to master. My approach helps you to tackle the physical symptoms and also helps you calm your mind and stay positive. I’d love to help you improve your life, improve your symptoms, and move towards recovery. It can be a long journey - perhaps years - and I don’t sugar-coat how long it can take to fully recover. But I see help people improve their lives in a relatively short space of time. Initially improving how they are coping with their symptoms and then setting their sights on recovery and how to achieve this.

ME/CFS Frameworks
Designed to Support You

I’ve developed two frameworks that I use very successfully in my ME/CFS coaching sessions. The first is a six-step process primarily focussed on getting you to a stage where you are coping a little better with life now, and with the symptoms that you’re experiencing. It includes essential approaches that are commonly known to be of great help, such as pacing and healthy nutrition, but also some less obvious elements that I believe make my approach so successful - such as practical tips about your personal routines at home, and easily achieved tasks that could greatly improve your brain fog.
The second is a more flexible framework that starts to look towards achieving actual improvements to your symptoms and your overall health condition. Depending on where you are in your personal journey, we’ll either start at the beginning, or with the improvement focus. All of my ME/CFS Coaching approaches work perfectly alongside whatever medical support you’re getting from the hospital or your GP.
Please contact me if you would like to discuss how I can help you tackle your life with ME/CFS. You can call or email - or click the button below to check my availability and request a convenient time for me to give you a call. I offer face to face sessions in Bristol, or by videoconference if you live further afield or have difficulty travelling.
